Hockey bags, and hockey equipment stinks and I am checking into Every possible way to make that FUNK stop! A product that was recently presented to me is an item called Fresh Waves! The Fresh Wave product line, Fresh Wave Sport, is a Natural Odor Eliminator. I tested out the Fresh Packs and the Fresh Wash.
I can not stand that smell, sometimes I honestly just want to gag from the smell, but I love the sport as much as my kids do and toting them around with their bags, just makes them smell more! This is one excellent product, and all you have to do is toss it in and go. Remember, these will last for about 30 days and then you will have to replace them! Make sure to order them ahead of time!HOW TO USE: Simply toss a Fresh Pack into the shoes, skates, bag, equipment, lockers helmets, etc., and it will just get rid of the smell. The odors will be gone without any fragrance and no harsh chemicals. This is important because kids, should NEVER come into contact with chemicals!
INGREDIENTS: Natural extracts of lime, pine needle, aniseed, clove and cedarwood. A great tip: you know how the hockey bags smell? The bags also penetrate your car, especially if you stop for something to eat or leave the bag in by accident. Toss one of these fresh packs underneath your front seat and you will not have that wonderful hockey funk in your car!!
THE BIG QUESTION: Does this work? Yes, these do work! The odors are completely eliminated without flower fragrances. I would describe the smell as a light 'piney' smell. That is it! Let's face it PINE is better than Hockey Funk, because who knows what that is made from ! Fresh Wave Sport works so well that it is the official deodorizer for the Chicago Blackhawks!

This is super easy to use and the result, fresh smelling hockey clothing that does not need to be immersed in fabric softener to smell clean! Save a little bit of money because I have found myself just DUMPING the fabric softener in to get rid of that stench!
Fresh Wave Sport Fresh Wash will eliminating laundry odors in all types of fabrics. You have to add between 3 and 7 oz per load. You can also throw it into your rinse cycle.
What can you use this on? The towels the little ones wipe up with, their hockey socks, shirts, under garments and anything that you wash that is Athletic apparel.
